Sortr Refund Policy

Effective date: November 2, 2026

ContentsYou aren't charged until it worksNo refunds once it has workedWhen we do refundHow to ask

Sortr is built so you only pay once it's working.

You aren't charged until it works

  • Your first 50 photos are free, so you can see the results before paying.
  • When you start a paid sort, we only place a hold on your card. The card is charged once 10% of your library has sorted successfully.
  • If sorting fails before then, the hold is released automatically and you pay nothing. Depending on your bank, a released hold can take a few days to disappear from your statement.
  • Photos bought from your Account page, and re-sorts, are charged when you pay. Unused photos never expire.

No refunds once it has worked

Because you see Sortr working before you are charged, purchases are final once sorting has worked. We don't offer refunds for:

  • photos already sorted, or unused photos left on your account (they stay available to use later);
  • disagreeing with how the AI sorted or named some photos (photos it isn't sure about go in Review, and you can add folders and re-sort);
  • changing your mind after sorting has started.

When we do refund

We will refund you, in full or in part, if:

  • you were charged twice, or charged by mistake;
  • you were charged but Sortr didn't sort your photos because of a problem on our side;
  • a paid re-sort failed to run;
  • we stop offering Sortr while you still have paid photos left (we refund the unused part).

How to ask

Email hello@sortr.online within 30 days of the charge, from the email on your account, with what happened. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

This policy doesn't affect any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
