Sortr is a photo organizer that does the whole job for you. It looks at every photo from your iCloud library, puts a copy in the folder you'd have chosen and gives it a name that says what's in it. Videos come along too, copied into their own Videos folder. You decide the folders. It does the thousands of little decisions.

Your photos stay yours.
Sortr was built copy-first and private by default. Here is exactly what happens to your library.
Nothing is ever deleted.
Sortr only reads from iCloud and copies. It has no delete button for your library, by design. Your originals are checked after copying and kept read-only.
Your Apple password stays home.
You get your photos onto your computer with Apple’s own apps. Sortr never sees your Apple Account or password.
Small previews, not originals.
To sort and name a photo, a small preview and any text in it are sent to the AI. Full-size originals never leave your computer.
No AI account needed.
The AI is included in the price. You never need an OpenAI account, a key or a bill of your own.
Unsure photos aren’t guessed.
When the AI isn’t confident, the photo goes in a Review folder. Nothing for you to check; look whenever you like.

Not sure how many you have? On iPhone, open Photos and scroll to the very bottom of your Library. Count photos only. Videos are free.
Every plan includes AI sorting, AI naming, the Sortr chat and the Review folder. Videos are copied for free. Nothing is deleted.
